A Hill that is also known as a 'Dewey' is defined as being any high point between 500m (1650ft) and 610m (2000ft) above mean sea-level with at least 30m (approx 100ft) of 'prominence' or 'ascent' on all sides.

There are currently 421 Hills also known as Deweys:

- 180 in England, 241 in Wales and 1 in The Isle of Man.

NB. Hills that is also known as 'Deweys' are named after a list in a chapter of a book called 'Mountain Tables' by Michael Dewey.
